Hi, I'm Tim.
I've been consulting in IT since 1999 — long enough to have racked physical Exchange servers, and current enough to be shipping cloud workloads on AWS this morning. Starboard Solutions is the practice I built around one idea: technology should make running a business easier, not harder.
These days I split my time between the Canberra clients we look after as their outsourced IT team, and building Vela — our AI admin platform for Australian SMBs. Both halves feed each other: every annoying admin task I see on a client site becomes another thing Vela could automate away.
