How it works

Most onboardings take less than a business day. Bring your domain, we'll handle the rest.
1. Get in touch
Tell us your sending domain, what you're sending, and roughly the monthly volume. We'll confirm the right tier and quote setup.
2. DNS records
We send you the DNS records for DKIM, MAIL FROM and DMARC. You add them, or on managed tiers we add them for you.
3. Credentials or list
Transactional and SaaS tiers get SMTP credentials for your app. Bulletin and marketing tiers get a sender dashboard with list management.
4. Send
Mail flows. We watch reputation and bounces in the background. You get a monthly delivery summary.

Existing Starboard managed-service clients: A$150 tier setup and A$450 tier setup are included in your MSA. Higher tiers still incur their setup fee, but ongoing monthly is discounted by 15%. Ask us for a quote against your existing agreement.
Why we built Mailbuoy
Because email shouldn't be a monthly puzzle.
For years we resold SMTP relay and email marketing services to our managed clients. The providers were fine — until they weren't. Pricing changed, support evaporated, deliverability dipped. So we built Mailbuoy, running on Australian infrastructure with the same monitoring and support we'd want ourselves.
The tiers reflect what different senders actually need. A small business sending 100 password resets a month shouldn't pay the same as a club sending 700 member bulletins — and neither should pay marketing-suite prices for infrastructure they don't need. Simple, honest, matched to the job.

What Mailbuoy isn't.
Mailbuoy is for legitimate business email — transactional messages, member bulletins, consented marketing to your own list. It isn't a cold-outreach platform, a way around someone else's spam filters, or a home for lists you bought or scraped. We audit consent evidence on marketing tiers, we monitor complaint rates, and we'll pause accounts that drift. Keeps the reputation clean for everyone.
